Randstad is currently working with a growing construction and remedial building refurbishment business that is looking for an organised, confident Office Administrator to support their busy office and estimation team. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can juggle different tasks, and likes being the go-to person in the office.
This is a hands-on position where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and suppliers while keeping everything in the office running smoothly.
Day-to-day, you’ll be involved in:
• Welcoming visitors and answering incoming calls
• Booking appointments and helping keep calendars on track
• Assisting with the preparation of quotes
• Keeping on top of the vehicle fleet (servicing, registration, compliance)
• Supporting WHS documentation and general compliance
• Using SiteDocs (great if you’ve used it before, but not essential)
To step into this role with confidence, you’ll need:
• Previous admin experience
• Construction industry experience – this is essential
• Strong organisational skills and solid attention to detail
• Someone who’s comfortable speaking with clients and suppliers
• An understanding of WHS processes (or at least an interest in learning)
• A willingness to pick up new systems and technology
• Small, supportive team where your work actually makes a difference
